Troubleshooting Sun StorEdge [TM] 33x0/351x Power Supply Problems
Symptoms:
- Failed or absent power supply
- Amber Power Supply LED
- Power supply eventlog messages
Steps to Follow
The steps below will help verify and resolve power supply problems.
1. Verify the power supply hardware status is OK by
- Issuing the sccli> show fru command.
- Issuing the sccli>show enclosure-command

2. Verify the Power Supply LED is green.
3. Verify the eventlog or persistent-event log by issuing the sccli> show event or sccli> show persistent-event is not reporting failures or absent events.
4. For the 35x0,review < Solution: 217609 > :"Sun StorEdge[TM] 3510 FC Array: Unexpected SES events", to verify there are no false Power Supply failures reported.
